Job 5:26

“You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, like a sheaf gathered up in its season”.

What he has promised in his word is what he will do. He won’t change his mind nor allow his word to remain void but manifest what he has said. God cannot Lie!

Longevity talks about the length and duration of a man’s life.

Sir/Ma God’s plan for us isn’t to die young according to his word and a promise; that is the essence of making us know that he won’t promise and fail. His word says in Proverbs 3:2 Length of days and years of life and peace will be added to you. Stating again this covenant of longevity and adding that he has called us not to a life of struggle but to a life of peace.

Also God says in his word the With long life will he satisfy you. That means that there is no satisfaction in dying young. No man/woman/young/old is happy when Death occurs. Therefore there is no satisfaction in death but in his promise of Longevity. Psalm91:16a.

According to Job 5:26; There is old age and ripe old age. So it is your heritage to live long.

Gateways to Longevity

1) New Birth:  For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life (Prov9:11) (Deut30:18-20)

2) Fear of the Lord: The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short. (Prov10:27)

3) For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit or lies (1pe3:10). Ananias and Sapphira are examples in Acts5:1-10.

4) Kingdom Service: As you serve the lord your God he rewards you with longevity. (Ex23:26b, Psalm92:13-13) How important are you in his kingdom?

5) The Word: “His words are life to those who find them.”  (Prov. 4:22)

6) Keep his commandments: His word says that you can prolong your day on earth by obeying his commandments. Deut4:40, Prov3:1-2

7) Prayer:  God prolonged Hezekiah’s years after he prayed.  (2kings 20:1-7)

The essence of longevity is for you to be able to proclaim the works of God. (psalm118:17)

Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim ”.

Curses are Real! As Blessings aren’t natural so are curses. As a matter of fact nothing is normal but are things are supernatural. Also Christianity is a Spiritual thing.

What are Curses? A curse could be a dark shadow from the past that shuts the light of God’s blessing away from you and most times occur when you are almost or at the point of breakthrough.

What is Generational Curses: According to Lam 5:7 “Our fathers have sinned and are no more and we bear their punishment”. So they are unclean iniquity that increases in strength from one generation to the next and affects the members of the family!

Some symptoms of a generational curse is a continual negative pattern of something being handed down from generation to generation.  Some common symptoms of generational curses are family illnesses that seem to just walk from one person down to the next, continual financial difficulties (they continually hit roadblocks in their finances), mental problems, early death, persistent challenges. This is a spiritual bondage that is passed down from one generation to another.  There are many people today who are living under bondage that the sins of their forefathers has brought them under.

The good news is that once you accept Jesus, the transference of bondage stops from your ancestors by means of generational curses. You can no longer receive spiritual bondages in this manner from your parents once you accept Jesus!

Christ was made a curse, so we can be freed from the curses that sin (both our sins and those of our forefathers) has brought us. Galatians 3:13, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” Once you become a child of God, no longer will the sins of your forefathers cause curses to transfer into your life.

By his blood has he washed away every form of generational curses. We have redemption through his blood. He has blotted out every ordinance written against us by his shedding of blood on the Cross of Calvary. Also as we partake of the communion we do it in remembrance of what he has done and as we partake of his flesh we become like him as he is and his blood naturally cancel and cleanse every form of curse.

Also as we establish biblical foundation of what he has done. The struggle only continues because you don’t know what he has done. As God said in his word “My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge”. So know what he has done and pronounce it as you pray because the essence of his coming is to set the captives free and also to destroy the works of darkness.

Exodus 23:25-26

The covenant of God cannot be broken. What he says is what he will do. He won’t change his mind. The covenant of Day and Night hasn’t changed therefore likewise the Covenant of fruitfulness will always produce.

In the beginning it was not so: Gen1:28 God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Fruitfulness is your Heritage from God.

Psalm127:3 says “Lo, Children are an heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward”

Fruitfulness is also a proof that we serve God. We are created a sign and wonder to our world. Though we are in the world but we aren’t of the world.

Exodus23:25-26 “And you shall serve the lord your God and he will bless their bread and their water and take sickness away from amongst thee. There shall nothing, nor be barren in the land: the number of their days I will fulfil.

.Mat7:16a says that “You will know them by their fruit”

Your proof as a Christian is to produce fruits especially in this season of Signs and Wonders

Gateways to Fruitfulness

1) New Birth:  For apart from me you can do nothing.

2) Faith: Believe that it is your right in Redemption. Luke 1:45

3)Prayer: You must engage in prayer to collect your heritage back from the devil.

4) Kingdom Service: As you serve the lord your God he rewards you with fruitfulness. Psalm127:3, Psalm 128:1-3

Biblical Examples:

Hannah wept, was mocked and yet she prayed that she could bare a son. And She did give birth according to the prophetic word spoke over her by Prophet Eli.

You also might have cried and also mocked but I pray that there shall be a performance and manifestation of Fruitfulness in the name of Jesus
