Designated Safeguarding Lead
Name to be confirmed
Leads safeguarding across DCC and is the first point of contact for any concern.
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
Children’s church combines age-appropriate Bible teaching, informal activities and opportunities for children to use their gifts to serve God.
All children’s activities are led by trusted volunteers and run in line with DCC’s safeguarding policy. Speak to a member of our Welcome Team on arrival and they will help you get your children settled.
Send a message to the Children Ministry team and they'll be in touch.
Our online form is being set up. In the meantime, we'd love to hear from you:
When you hand your child to us on a Sunday, you are trusting us with someone precious. We never take that trust lightly. Long before the first song is sung, our team has prepared to make Children’s Church a place where your child is safe, seen and free to discover how much God loves them.
Our children’s team greets you and your child at the door, so you know exactly who will be looking after them.
Every child is signed in by a parent or carer, with any allergies, needs or important details noted.
Your child learns, plays and worships with leaders who are safely recruited, DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained.
At the end of the service, children are only handed back to the parent or carer who signed them in.
If you ever have a question or a worry about a child’s safety, these are the people to speak to. Every conversation is treated with care and in confidence.
